We would like to thank everyone for the wonderful e-mails, letters of concern and
phone calls about closing of Riverbend. We have tried over the years as it became
harder with each festival to make ends meet but the time came that we couldn't continue.
After 22 years of festivals, it has become one of the greatest loves of our lives and we feel
as though we are losing a member of our family. This was a decision we
did not come by lightly. Between the cost of fuel, electricity, building materials,
job demands and family issues, it has become impossible to continue. We have made
a lot of great friendships throughout the years that we will cherish always. Please stay in
touch as we travel through our lives.
