Riverbend Bluegrass Festival

April, 2004

Thanks to all who attended our April, 2004 festival. Bluegrass lovers from all over started coming in early in the week for one of our best shows ever.    Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike, James King Band Larry Stephenson. The Larkins, Lonesome Whistle Band, Coley Station and Riverbend Bluegrass Band   performed Thursday through Saturday. 

Special thanks to Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike who presented a children's Bluegrass Music workshop Saturday morning in addition to their regular programs.  The workshop was a great success and we were well pleased by the response of the children and adults that participated. We plan to make the children's workshop a  permanent part of our festivals.  As time goes along, it can just get better.
