Riverbend Bluegrass Festival

These are photos of our 2002 upgrade or our electrical system at Riverbend.  When we first started having shows here in 1986, we had plenty of current to meet the needs of our campers.  But, through the years, campers have gotten bigger and require more power.  So we are working with the Irwin County Electric Membership Corporation to assure that there will adequate electrical power for all our visitors.  When you come to Riverbend in the future, you will find that most of the overhead power lines have been removed and replaced with underground cables.  The transformers on the electrical poles have been replaced with larger more powerful transformers on the ground.
