October 2004

We had a great festival in October, 2004.  Marty Raybon, Nothin' Fancy, Southern Lite with special guest Audie Blaylock, Carolina Road, Hurricane Creek, Mark Templeton & New Vision, Riverbend Bluegrass and Heather & Trueheart performed for a record crowd.  The children's music workshop presented by Ernie Evans and all the Southern Lite boys was a rousing success as we've come to expect.  And since it was Halloween weekend, we had lots ghosts, goblins, witches and some things we're not really sure about running around.  There were great performances on stage, but there was also a lot of fine music in the parking lot.  Some folks came just for the jamming,  Friday night we counted 11 jam sessions going on during one trip through the campground.  Veniece & Elaine enjoyed all the fellowship with our friends on the new porch at the office.  Everyone left looking forward to next spring.
